By taking the visitor from Catania or Messina by car:

• By car: Motorway A18, exit Taormina. Keep driving for about 6 km in the direction of the centre of Taormina ("Taormina centro") up to the parking "Lumbi". Take the road on the left of the parking which enters the "montetauro" tunnel, and follow it up to "Porta Catania". Take Via Fazzello street on the left of the arch, follow it for 500 metres, the hotel "Vello d'Oro" will be on your right-hand side.
• By train: Railway station "Taormina-Giardini Naxos", from which take a taxi for about 2.5 km.
• By air: Arrival at the International Airport of Catania “Fontanarossa”, from which: Either take motorway A18 Catania-Messina (direction Messina), exit Taormina Or rent a car (various companies available)
  Or take a bus to Taormina (takes about 60 min to arrive) Or take a taxi up to Hotel Vello d’Oro
